Los Cabos, Mexico is located on the southern most tip of the Baja Peninsula, a thin strip of land nestled between the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean. Los Cabos consists of both Cabo San Lucas and San Jose Del Cabo with a desert coastal highway, connecting the two towns.

The tropical weather, nice beaches, and beautiful scenery make Los Cabos, Mexico a popular vacation spot. Even with the economy today, Los Cabos stil offers a inexpensive vacation.

If you stay in Cabo San Lucas, expect crowds, but a lot or restaurants and bars. However, if you want a little more relaxation, your Mexico car rental will allow you to stay in San Jose Del Cabo. By having a car rental, you can get away from the crowds and still drive to Cabo San Lucas.

The weather in Los Cabos includes over 360 days of sunshine with highs in the 90s in the summer and 70s in the winter. The Fall season offers even more deals and less crowds due to lack of summer traveler’s. While at this time of year it is cooler that the sweltering summers, most days are still well into the 80s and 90s.

While you are in Los Cabos, there is a multitude of activities to do in the region and in the off-season, there will be less people on the beaches, golf courses, and surrounding mountains. Los Cabos is known for Jack Nicklaus built golf courses, marlin fishing, and surfing. Other activities include snorkeling, scuba diving, ATV excursions, horse back riding on the beach, off-roading in the rugged mountains, and kayaking.

For those interested in relaxing, there is the option for lounging at the pool or beach with a book or going to a spa for some pampering.
