If you are planning a trip to Mexico City, you first need to have a hotel room, flight reservation and rental car. If you have all three of those taken care of, it’s now time for you to figure out what you’re going to do while you are in Mexico City. Fortunately for you, I can point you in the right direction by giving you some recommendations below:

San Jacinto Plaza: Although you can find things to do in the town square plaza on any day of the week, the most popular day to visit this area is on Saturdays. The reason for this is because that is when the art markets take place.

Palcaio de Bellas Artes: The three things that you need to know about this destination are: it’s quite a lovely looking building, it is home to an art museum and it is also home to live performances.

Zocalo: This area is in the heart of Mexico city, which is why it is so popular among tourists and locals alike. If you are trying to figure out the perfect time of day to visit, you should strongly consider going around sunset so that you can see thesoldiers make their ceremonial march to the national flag.

Torre Latino: If you want to experience the city from an elevated area, this is the place to go. The really cool thing about this building is that not only does it feature an observation deck, but it also has the highest aquarium anywhere in the world (which you can find all the way up on the thirty-eighth floor).
